Sonoma County Sheep Breeders is a local group of Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino sheep breeders, family, and FFA /4-H members. We have two meetings a year with our Annual Crab feed in January serving as our Annual Meeting. Our meetings/events give us all an opportunity to develop programs/events and socialize with other members who sheep - either raising or showing. There are two ways to join the Sonoma County Sheep Breeders - as an individual/ranch name or as a Jr. Membership. We have been working hard to increase our numbers and develop new activities, awards and programs for our Jr. Membership. We held our fourth annual fitting contest at the Sonoma County Fair in 2019 and it was a great event! Plans are already in the works to expand the entries for this year's contest. We are also working on securing a CJLA jackpot show to be held in Sonoma County. These events aren't possible without the continued support of our membership.
